Our Homes

Riverview Residential Support operates two residential support homes in Addison, Maine. Each home has three beds. Our homes are licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Within each home, certified Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide support in order to improve and maintain a person’s health and well-being and his or her ability to live, work, and be a part of their community. The level of supports an individual receives is tailored to match each individual’s unique needs as outlined in the person’s Person Centered Plan (PCP). Each resident, their guardian(s), if applicable, and whomever else they choose are a part of developing their plan. Support staff also provide personal assistance with activities that contribute to health and well-being including; meal preparation, safety, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living, along with transportation support for work, medical appointments, and community events.

We strive to make our homes a safe, comfortable space, where residents inform how they live, work and interact with their community.

Direct Service Professionals

Our homes are staffed by caring individuals, who are DSP certified. Staff provide a positive, friendly, supportive home environment. Our homes are staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week with Team Leaders who work in the homes with them to ensure continual training and support are available to them.

Staff Training

Staff are trained to meet the specific needs of those we support. This training includes Direct Support Professional Training (DSP), First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration (CRMA). Training is free and the certifications stay with you.

Staff Supervision

Each home has an assigned Team Leader. The Team Leader is a working supervisor who provides direct care to the residents of the home and supportive guidance to the home’s Direct Care Staff. The Team Leader answers directly to administration.

Community Involvement

We believe strongly in full community inclusion. Riverview Residential Support staff provide supported access to the community.

Transportation

Each home has its own van. Additional support is given to help arrange rides through public transportation, such as Logisticare, Uber, taxi, etc., if needed.
